DATE: August 12, 2019
RE: Transport to the OD Hospital – Advent Health Altamonte
Advent Health – Altamonte is designated as an overdose receiving facility for suspected narcotic overdoses.
Effective immediately you shall take overdose patients there from anywhere in the county to the Altamonte OD receiving facility, unless there is a condition that needs immediate attention . . . then follow protocol for the nearest recommended destination.
The protocols will be updated soon reflecting this destination change.
